Hello! I’m Carrie.

Never in a million years did I think I would become a portrait artist.

I studied Graphic Design, as well as, Digital and Interactive Media Design in college. After graduating, I worked corporate for 15 years, then owned a stationery design studio for 10 years.

As my design studio was winding down, I often asked myself “what could be next for me”. One day, after seeing a whimsical portrait on Instagram, I felt compelled to give it a try (shown above). Then, after painting a handful of whimsical portraits, I decided to try painting a portrait of myself and my dog, Beau (shown above). This painting led to my first commission, then that commission led to another and another and before I knew it, I had the answer to my question.

Today, my art studio is based in my home in Airdrie, AB, Canada, which I share with my Husband and 3 dogs (2 Pugs and a Bugg). When we aren't in the studio, you can find us at our RV lot in Radium Hot Springs, BC, Canada.
